Adèle Viret Quartet

At 23, Adèle Viret is one of the promising young musicians of her generation. We have seen her perform alongside Magic Malik, the Orchester National de Jazz des jeunes and more recently with the group Aka Moon. With this quartet, Adèle presents her personal compositions for the first time. It is a meeting place of universes that touch and amuse her, an alloy of lyricism and rhythmic games with a few touches of minimalist atmospheres. Exploring multiple paths of improvisation and taking up the challenge of a quartet without bass where the bass of the cello and the piano take over alternately, she surrounds herself for this very first project with artists who are dear to her.
