Ornella Noulet Sextet Tribute to McLean

The “Tribute to Jackie McLean” project was born within the walls of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. The McLean sextet explores a repertoire signed by the American saxophonist who was very active in the 1950s-60s. This repertoire includes mostly compositions of modal music but also bebop standards. In search of sound radiation, the members of the sextet play with colors and unite in a musical and human symbiosis.
