Bruno Grollet "Haunted Polliwog"

The name “haunted polliwog” is a bit absurd like the world around us. Recklessness, metamorphosis, adaptation, luck and agility will help the tadpole one day leap like a happy melody. "Haunted Polliwog" is free and breathes differently, it invites the listener to a form of natural temporality inspired by the rhythm of the seasons. The compositions, like simplified maps, guide our journey through an ever-changing landscape formed by permanent collective improvisations. Without the fuss, some pieces sometimes tinged with revolt, invite you to laugh at the absurdity of the world and others to taste its beauty in all its contradictions. Bruno Grollet took advantage of the lockdown to build this brand new project that had been simmering in the back of his mind for some time and is looking forward to presenting it at the Jazz Station!
