Danger Zone

Danger Zone is a collective co-led by drummer Paul Morvan and double bassist Alex Gilson, young sidemen in high demand, notably in charge of the famous jam session of the famous Duc des Lombards in Paris. They founded Danger Zone in 2019 with the aim of bringing together the young generation of Parisian jazz musicians around the same idea : “it’s all about swing !” « . Emanation of this collective, the quintet, including Björn Ingelstam on trumpet and vocals, Amaury Faye on piano, Michel Pastre on tenor sax, and the young band leaders, recorded its first album in spring 2022. Between compositions and standards, with an relentless swing, they continue to carry their message in France and Europe : Get in the Danger Zone !
