Félix Zurstrassen is a lover of melodies which can evolve and ripple over time. He is like the tree that grows with the seasons. With his Nova project, the electric bassist has prepared a fertile soil that allows each of the accompanying musicians to reveal the best of themselves. Félix Zurstrassen’s music clings as much to the earth as to the stars. Indeed, he nourished it with different influences that extend from Steve Coleman to Brad Mehldau. It mixes the cerebral and feeling, strength and softness, roots and the unspeakable in a way.
