Here is the American version of the guitar / organ / drums trio. It is said of Peter Bernstein that he is the most complete guitarist of the moment. "Always white-hot" according to Jim Hall... By his side Bill Stewart, a luxury drummer with a "melodious" style, as Roy Haynes, Jack De Johnette or Al Foster know, and a "groovy" organist between Lonnie Smith and Joey de Francesco. Celebrating three decades as a group, they took the tradition of the organ trio popularized by Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff and Larry Young in the 1960s into new territory, recording a dozen masterful albums.
