Ben Sluijs, alto saxophone, flute / Bram De Looze, piano / Lennart Heyndels, double bass / Dré Pallemaerts, drums

Saxophonist Ben Sluijs is undeniably one of the big names on the jazz scene in Belgium. In this new quartet, he surrounds himself with two particularly promising talents : Bram De Looze on piano and Lennart Heyndels on double bass and a legend of Belgian jazz, drummer Dré Pallemaerts.
A tireless musician, Ben Sluijs surprises with his powerful and lyrical playing. Both reassuring and full of mystery, his new music is composed of clear melodies, sometimes rich, sometimes sober harmonies and surprising influences. His repertoire constantly opens new doors to new freedoms and stories.

  • 22h-23h Yôkaï

Fred Becker, saxophone / Eric Bribosia, keyboards / Yannick Dupont, drums, keyboards / Louis Evrard, drums / Axel Gilain, electric bass / Jordi Grognard, saxophone, clarinet / Clément Nourry, electric guitar / Ivan Tirtiaux, electric guitar

Yôkaï is a Brussels band made up of eight multi-instrumentalist musicians from the jazz, rock and improvised music scenes. While transcending stylistic barriers, their music is sprinkled with electronic and cinematic atmospheres.
Hard to classify, the universe of Yôkaï is a synthesis between contemporary jazz and soundtracks by Ennio Morricone and François de Roubaix, all tinged with analog synths and psychedelic rock.
On stage, their always unique and organic performances captivate, unite and invite inner explorations as much as dance.
