Ping O.D

Ping O.D., the brainchild of Roeland Celis, started out as an attempt to combine the worlds of progressive metal with jazz. Dark, distorted sounds, heavy rhythms and through-composed pieces co-exist with the rich harmonies, subtlety and improvisation found in jazz. It quickly became apparent that these worlds together would create a new entity in itself. The band released its debut album titled ‘The Vacuum’ on the British label, Whirlwind Recordings in September 2023.
