Rick Hollander Quartet feat. Brian Levy (US)

Rick Hollander, born in 1956 in Detroit, began studying drums at the age of 9. He studied privately at Gene Stewart and Roy Brooks, then joined Oakland Community College in music theory, piano and composition. Rick moved to New York in 1979 and Europe in 1987. He gradually gained experience by working and recording with great jazz musicians such as Woody Shaw, James Moody, Tim Hagans, Roy Hargrove, Walt Weiskopf , Brad Mehldau and many others. He is also the leader of his own group which has now existed for more than twenty-five years.
